Urban Wellness Clinic – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms
   By accessing www.urbanwellnessclinic.ca (the “Site”), contacting us, booking an appointment, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. Who we are
   Urban Wellness Clinic (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides healthcare and wellness services in British Columbia, Canada.

3. Not medical or emergency advice
   The content on the Site is for general information only and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Clinical care is provided only through appointments with qualified practitioners and is governed by applicable clinical consents and professional standards.

4. Eligibility and accuracy of information
   You must be the age of majority in your province or have parental/guardian consent to use our services. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as needed.

5. Appointments, cancellations, and fees
   a) Booking: Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or in person.
   b) Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
   c) Payments: Fees are due as indicated at booking or at the time of service. Certain services may be covered by insurance; coverage is the responsibility of the client to confirm.
   d) Late arrival: Late arrivals may result in a shortened session while the full fee may still apply.

6. Virtual and telehealth services
   Where offered, virtual services are delivered through secure platforms. You are responsible for having a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a compatible device. Telehealth may not be appropriate in all situations; your practitioner will advise if in-person care is required.

7. Communications and text messaging
   By providing your contact details, you consent to receive communications related to your care, scheduling, reminders, and clinic updates by email, phone, or text. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time. Message and data rates may apply.
   Required statement: no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

8. User conduct
   You agree not to use the Site or our services for illegal purposes; not to post, transmit, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing; and not to attempt to interfere with the security or functionality of the Site or our systems.

9. Intellectual property
   All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Urban Wellness Clinic and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Third-party services and links
    The Site may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools (for example, booking or payment processors). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and governed by their terms.

11. Privacy
    Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

12. Warranties and disclaimers
    The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urban Wellness Clinic and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim, if any.

14. Indemnity
    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urban Wellness Clinic, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or services.

15. Changes to the Site or services
    We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or services at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, located in Vancouver, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Severability
    If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
